Creating User Ranks

• Log on to Ventrilo as a Server Admin
• Right click anywhere within the white Ventrilo interface.
• Click Server Admin -> Rank List
• Click Add -- Enter the abbreviation for the Rank.
• Enter a long description.
• Enter the Level (highest to lowest, 0 to 100).
• Click Ok.
• You now have a rank added in the server.

Assigning Ranks

• Right click anywhere within the white Ventrilo interface.
• Go to Server Admin -> User Editor
• Select the user you wish to assign a rank.
• Choose Rank -> (Rank to Select).
• Click Update.

Assigning Ranks to Channels for Speaking Purposes

• Right-click on the Channel, Channel Admin -> Edit.
• Change the Voice Mode to Queued.
• Click on Transmit Rank Level.
• Enter the rank level (a number).
• Any users with ranks higher or equal to that number will be able to speak.
