In the latest version of ventrilo server the channel codecs option was enabled this allows you to have different codecs for different channels. To enable this feature if it is not already on do the following:

1. Login to the Monsters Manager http://login.thegamemonsters.com
2. Select Voice Servers and click the one you wish to change
3. Click the Voice Server Configuration
4. Select /ventrilo_srv.ini General settings for your Ventrilo server and click edit
5. Where it asks you if you wish to allow channel codecs click yes and save.
6. Restart your server
